Last month, the Foote family left evidence that they were at our house. They so kindly gathered straw for the manger! Thank you kids for doing that!This a clay Nativity set with the Biblical characters dressed in the Guatemalan village outfits. These are dressed in very typical dress for folks living in the mountains.
The Foote family has been in the states for the holidays and returned yesterday and will be heading back to their home in Santiago, Lake Atitlán today. We had a delightful time with them, Jon and Jan Edwards and their Guatemalan friends, Pedro, Ana, Mercedes, Geldi and Jenny Samuc over supper on Friday.
