While shopping in the small lake village of San Antonio Palopó, we took the opportunity to engage the local kids that were hanging out around the little shop. Glenn told one Guatemalan Indian boy to go gather up some of his friends and bring them back to the shop, as the Josephs had a small gift for them and wanted to tell them a story about Jesus.

As Glenn translated into Spanish what Conner, Caroline and Catherine were speaking in English, these ladies then translated the story into their local dialect of Chachiquel.

Not only were the kids learning about the story of salvation in their local dialect, the local women were hearing the story too. How awesome is that? Karen helped the kids put together the wordless book bracelets.
