The Nashs we have known since GPBC days. They moved to Wichita several years ago. Their son, Jeff, came to live with us in Bolivia for 4 months in 1990. They treated us to dinner at Village Inn. Although we hadn't seen each other in several years, we picked up where we last left off.

Then we stopped by Siloam Springs to see Gary. Since he is "rooming" with several guys in an un-airconditioned house for the summer, he was glad to see us and stay with us at the Comfort Suite Hotel in Springdale. AC and enjoy a pool! The guys talked about computers, automobiles, schooling, insurance, taxes, girls, and different challenges they are facing. We have seen a great maturity in Gary in the past year. Wow, that first year of college really does it! The guys went to several auto parts places to look for accesories for Gary's new 'old' Honda Accord. Thanks Jordan!

On our way back to Dallas, we stopped in to see Julian Lloret at Go Ye Village in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Julian served many years in Mexico, Costa Rica And Guatemala. Matter of fact, I remember meeting him on PMT in 1977 at the Boarding School in Huehuetenango. He was field director for Guatemala for many years. He recently lost his wife, Claire, to a sudden illness. It was good to visit with him and send him love and greetings from his co-workers in Guatemala.

We also visited with Al and Gladys Platt, former director of CAM International, now living in Newton, Kansas. We met up with them at the Wesylan Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Gladys is battling cancer. Their spirits are up and would appreciate your prayers.

While visiting Gary earlier in the summer up at JBU, I enjoyed a visit with April Orcutt Timboe and her young family.

More later,
Judy
