Conner kids and Pretzel Salad

Monday afternoon, Glenn attended David's soccer game. CAG lost. Then we invited the Conner kids over for dinner. I made Sherrie's Taco Soup. And Caroline brought the salad. This is a Conner favorite salad and it had been over a year since they had made it. Pretzels are hard to find here in Guatemala, so I had purchased a bag at Wal-mart. Curious to know what the salad or dessert was like, I asked Caroline to bring it for the meal.
It was VERY Good!
The Conner family (John and Gail) are up in the states for a few weeks with their teenage daughter. So, Glenn and I are touching base with the ones here in Guatemala. They're doing fine. Caroline, nearly 20, is doing a great job. She didn't know how to drive a standard (common for vehicles here in Guatemala), so we loaned her our Honda Passport (automatic) to drive for a few weeks. She drives the kids to school each morning and picks them up in the afternoons. Thanks for praying for the Conner family during these days.

Today, Saturday, we're taking the Conner kids and heading to Panajachel on beautiful Lake Atitlán for a long weekend. CAG is out of school on Monday. We plan to relax, play games and read.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Judy
