GPBC Team

We are thrilled to be hosting and helping facilitate the 12 member team from our home sending church, Grand Prairie Bible Church.  Over the past 30 years as missionaries, we have had several families visit us in Bolivia (Jones, Nash, Quijanos, Smith, Swain, Villegas).  Some have helped with childcare at conference.  But we had never hosted a team from GPBC.

So, we are excited to have a variety of folks here for this week.  Their initial goal was to volunteer at Casita Benjamín, however we suggested they come a few days early so we could show them a little more of this beautiful country.

Friday, we drove to Panajachel.  Because I don't like to drive in Guatemala, Will volunteered to drive the CRV and followed behind us.

We stopped off at GBS and had a short over-view of this ministry in the town of Chimaltenango.

Then we went to the Ruins of Iximché outside of Tecpan.  This was followed up by a picnic lunch on grounds.
