How did you spend your New Year's Eve?
Glenn and I drove over to CCC, the home where Marcia lives. She was sitting in the lobby, and her face just lit up when we walked through the security doors.

In the all purpose room, residents were gathering for a New Year's Eve Party. They spoke of their New Year's resolutions. Many said they want to read their Bibles more, others said they want improved health. Everyone was served crackers and cheese and some sparkling white grape juice. Then we all counted down.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
(even though it wasn't "really" midnight:)
I was so blessed by celebrating New Years eve at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon with Marcia. Marcia smiled from ear to ear as we "FaceTime" talked with our dear mutual friends Ken and Mary. Click here (with permission) to read about the times the Bakers traveled through Central America.
I was even more blessed by spending the few hours with Marcia than by any other New Year's eve celebration this year.
