No, I'm not talking about the feel-good movie starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan which we watched during the Christmas holidays.
We received a batch of Christmas cards in February. A BIG Thank You to folks who spent the energy to mail us your family photos and Christmas greetings. And Yes, we did get the Christmas mail. It was just 6-8 weeks later than normal.
Yea for the mail! We even got our NEW insurance cards and our NEW Texas Driver's licenses with our NEW Texas mailing address. Feeling pretty blessed!
Because Guatemala's mail service is essentially non-existent, we have been using Glenn's sister's mailbox in Van, Texas to collect our mail. And because there is not much international travel these days to and from Guatemala City, we have had to become creative in sending and receiving mail.
