Once a month Glenn and I gather together with Team Tomba to pray for the upcoming #ConversationsCoasttoCoast event. So far, this has been a highlight of our participation. Since we are in Guatemala, we cannot attend the meeting each month, but we can virtually participate via FaceTime.
We pray
- for the cyclists - riding approximately 100 miles each day
- for the conversations that will happen
- for the people we will meet and the lives that will be affected
- for safety of the cyclists and their health
- for good communication and contingincy plans
- for the finalization of details such as lodging, routing, and additional help along the way
Last night we had a special prayer, and "laying on of hands", for the cyclists.
