Shopping & the World Race Team

So, we go walking up Santander Street to purchase some touristy items. Of course we are bombarded with gals that want to sell us stuff. Normally they shout out "Buy from me. I give you good price!"
Then Sherrie runs into these young people, a part of the World Race mission team, and we bring them back home to feed them "left over" Mexican Casserole. They loved it! They enjoyed speaking English to some "gingos". This group of young people are just beginning their journey around the world. 11 Countries in 11 months. Just 2 years ago, we met up with some other young people here in Guatemala with the same organization doing the same thing. For more information, go to www.theworldrace.org

  1. Small world, big family is RIGHT! I spent a summer in the Amazon Jungle with Tara (bottom left) and have been praying for their team as they are traveling. Cannot believe you ran into them!! Wow.
