Wednesday morning, Glenn and I drove up to San Lucas and over to San Juan.
With our iphones linked to WAZE, we were able to follow the quaint country road past fields of corn and rows of beans, up over hills and around corners to finally reach Natalie's home. I never thought Waze would reach out here in the boonies.
Natalie teaches ESL in the public school system. She has classes every day from 12:30-6:00pm. She was happy to see the "care packages" we brought down from the states. Besides personal correspondence, the packages included useful materials for her classes and students.
Glenn and I had a fun morning, spending time visiting Natalie in her new home. Natalie had spent several months in language studies and now has settled in her new home, routine, teaching and ministry. Welcome to Guatemala, Natalie, and the fulfillment of a long time dream!
