Barbara and Scott were here to visit us. Barbara serves as a professional Christian counselor and we were aware that several of our co-workers were looking for some input. Barbara had even asked how she could help us in our ministry while she was here on her six day visit.
Glenn texted our missionary friends "Barbara is here and she is available to talk". Little did we know, this missionary couple had just prayed, "Please send someone from afar that we could talk with and glean some advice". Just then, Glenn's text arrived.
All this to say, we are grateful how the Lord orchestrated for Barbara to help this couple! You just never know how the Lord is going to work. I know I need to be creative, willing and in tune to opportunities to share our lives with others.
Thank you Barbara for your ministry to those in Florida and to us here in Guatemala.

Hi Glenn & Judy,
ReplyDeleteIs that not the way that God works (Re: Barbara)? All we have to do is be receptive to His leading and direction!
Judy, I saw your darling mom and dad yesterday at 3 Score. Your mom looked darling in a new outfit that she had purchased while in Fredericksburg. She had brought a little basket of delicious muffins for all my helpers in the kitchen. She and your dad said that they had a wonderful time with you in Guatemala; that 2 weeks was a so much more relaxing time.
Take care--Fred and I just prayed for you today as we are praying through all the NW missionaries.
Love to all, Patty and for Fred
Hi Judy!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading this post. Truly nothing is out of God's reach.
Thank you for sharing.
Barbara is the "bestest" when it comes to helping people. Of course, I am prejudice; I am her husband-Scott.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed every minute and the experiences we had (well, except for the doggies!).
Thanks for having us in during a busy time and sharing your family with us. Best of all we came back from Titilan with two mirrors on the van!
Love you all,
The Russells
