My dad proudly walked me down the isle on this day - 30 years ago today!
30 years ago today, Glenn and I were married at NBC. Note the 'afro' Glenn is sporting. I wore my sister-in-law's mother's dress. Beautiful lace. I loved it.More photos to come in the next few days.

Congratulations Judy and Glen! 30 years of marriage! It is so fun looking at and reminiscing about your wedding day, isn't it? Thanks for posting the pictures. Doug and I have been married 37 years. I had long dark hair and Doug was wearing the dark rimmed glasses so popular in 1972. It seems like such a long time ago, but yet, I can still remember the sights and sounds and emotions of that day. A week after we married we moved to CA to begin our first teaching jobs. It was exciting, yet hard moving so far away from family and friends. (We grew up in MI.) We look back and realize that it was good for us. We learned to lean on God and each other. There were no free long distance calls, no cell phone, no texting, no computers with e-mail or face book. I did write a lot of letters. We look back and realize that it is because of God's grace that we have been married happily for 37 years. We still love each other so much and enjoy being with each other and serving others together. I know from your blog and just knowing you for the little while that I do, that you and Glen are also very much in love and enjoying life together.
