Father Thomas Ordination

Last week, Glenn and I made a real quick trip to attend the Ordination service of Thomas, into the Greek orthodox church.

Grandkids

After completing the #ConversationsCoasttoCoast trip, 4,186 miles on the van from Santa Monica, California to Annapolis, Maryland, we decided to drive to Kansas City and then to Denver for a few days before returning to Dallas.  Why?  To see our grandkids.

My heart burst open when we got to spend a few hours with little Brighton (nearly 2 years old) and her baby sister, Violet, 3 months old).

And then Madison shared these photos with me that she made of the girls for Father's Day. Cuteness.

After a quick stop in Kansas City, we were in Denver for a few days visiting Ellen and Luke's kids.  David - nearly 8, Emily - 6, Lucy - 4 and "the baby" - 2

We had a quick visit with Ken and Lori McCune from our Bolivia days!
