Meeting little Annie for the first Time

Recently, Glenn and I drove up to Illinois to meet little Annie, born on February 1, 2020!  She was already 4 months old, so she wasn't an itty bitty infant girl.

One afternoon, I rocked Annie to sleep and she laid there in my arms for 4 solid hours.  Gotta love being a Grammie to this little sweetie.

I did share her with GrandDad a little bit.

Self Quarantine

Where in the World are Glenn and Judy Stewart?

We are currently fulfilling a 14-day "self-quarantine" at the CAM/Camino/Avant Mission Home in Dallas.  We do enjoy frequent ZOOM or Facebook times with Ellen and her new baby girl, Annie Joy.  We look forward to the day when we can F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. get to hold 2-month-old Annie in our arms.

This is our new reality.  We continue to work via ZOOM, WhatsApp and other social media formats to connect with missionaries around the world from here in Dallas, especially with those in Guatemala.  We have daily ZOOM meetings to encourage and pray for the missionaries. 

My friend, Bob, recently wrote to us about the conditions in Guatemala.  Currently, the country of Guatemala is on "Lock Down".  No buses are allowed at all on the streets, this is making for massive traffic jams.  No one is allowed in the streets from 4pm to 4am.  No one is allowed outside of their homes during those hours.  It is strictly mandated.  All land, port and air borders are closed. The Guatemalan church is being creative with their worship services to incorporate live video feed.

Although not confirmed with the COVID-19 (lack of testing), our son-in-law is recovering after weeks of flu-like symptoms.  Both Karen and Thomas are in "stay at home" mode in Denver, Colorado.  They are slowly on the mend and are just getting back to some forms of working outside their home.

Thank you for your prayers and support!  We are constantly reminded of God's faithfulness.  May you be encouraged also during these challenging and confusing days.  We have connected with several churches during their prayer times via Facebook Live.  Awesome!

Welcome to the World, Annie Joy

Annie Joy Rosenberger was born on February 1, 2020 to Ellen and Luke.  She was about 1 week early.  Healthy and Happy.

Grammie and GrandDad are tickled pink. 

 Little Annie Joy will be surrounded by 1 big brother, David, 8, Emily soon to be 7, Lucy 5, Elizabeth nearly 3.

Little Annie Joy is our 7th GrandChild.

That's 6 granddaughters and 1 grandson.  Can't get better than this!

Move-In Day at Juliette Fowler

My parents have officially moved into Juliette Fowler Retirement Home.

Go Marr Team.  Glenn and I arrived with the fragile items and the kitchen stuff at 6am.  By 7:30am, we had unloaded the RAV 4 and I had organized the kitchen plates, glasses, silverware, etc.  By 8:00am, the movers had arrived at Rick and Bev's house to get an extra double bed, vanity, and rug for the den.  Jack and Val Cox offered to have Mom and Dad for brunch as Team Marr got to work.

By 8:30am, the movers were at 9511 getting larger items such as kitchen table, dressers, and end-tables.  

By 2:30pm, everything was put in the 2 bedroom apartment.  Pictures were hung, beds were made and rug laid down, even toilet paper in each of the bathrooms.

It really took a Team.  Team Marr.  With all of us 4 siblings and the in-laws, we were able to put stuff together, set up the new home and have it walk-in ready for Mom and Dad.  

Thank you for the memories you have blessed each of us with for over 53 years at 9511.   We are blessed beyond what words can express.

Our 40th Anniversary

January 19, 1980-2020

40 Years.  It seems like yesterday.

Now, 

3 kids, 

plus 2 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law

1 grandson

5 granddaughters

1 grandchild due date 11 February

We are blessed!

Thank you for the 40-year adventure we have been on. 

 I look forward to our next adventures in the years to come.  Glenn, you have blessed me and I love you so much!

Last week, we had the honor of hosting Jori and John, visiting us from Spain.

Our week was filled with ministry and enjoying God's beauty.

It would not have been a complete trip if we had not gone to Casa Del Mundo.

We always enjoy the entertainment at Mike's Coffee Shop.
